Intermediate Pistol Holster Certification

This course is a continuation building on skills from Basic Pistol building on fundamentals, safety and marksmanship. Students will add to the fundamental marksmanship techniques and principles specific to pistol handling in new situations and conditions, drawing from their holster. Students can expect to fire more than 400 rounds live.

This course is to earn the complete level 2 qualification and holster certification. The student has to complete the online instruction and preparations before attending the in-person portion of Intermediate Pistol, they are then eligible to earn the certificate on this one day course.

Main Teaching Points
• Review of fundamentals – grip, stance, sight picture, trigger manipulation, malfunctions;
• Steps of the draw
• Shooting, moving, positions

Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to attend Advanced Pistol and Tactical Fitness classes.

Only 9 positions per class – small class sizes mean you get more instructor attention and a better understanding of your personal skills as a result.

Course instructions will follow registration in 5-7 business days.

All firearms can be provided and 400 rounds of live pistol ammunition is required.
